सुनसरी जिल्लामा खसीको मासुको माग स्थानीय उत्पादनले धान्न नसक्दा भारतदेखि विभिन्न जिल्लाहरुबाट आउने गरेकोमा पछिल्लो समयमा यही खुलेका ब्यवसायिक र संगठित फर्महरुले क्षमताअनुसार करोडौको कारोवार गर्ने गरेको पाईएको छ ।
सुनसरीको कोशी कटानमा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बोयर गोट फार्म सञ्चालन गरिरहेका जीवन घिमिरेले प्रारम्भिक चरणमा ठूलो लगानी गरेपनि अहिले वर्षेनी करोडौआम्दामी गरिरहेका छन ।
उनको फर्ममा अष्ट्रेलियाकै नश्लका बोयर खसी, बोका र बाख्रा पालन गरेका छन । उनको फर्मबाट विशेष गरेर स्थानीय नश्लसँग क्रस गराउने उद्देश्यले खरिद गर्न आउने गर्दछन । एउटा बोकाको साईज हेरेर दुईदेखि चार लाख रुपैयासम्ममा विक्री गर्ने गरेका छन ।
उनले एकवर्षमा दुई पटक गरेर १ सयभन्दा बढी खसी, बाख्रा र बोका विक्री गर्ने गरेका छन । जसबाट उनले बार्षिक दुईदेखि तीन करोडसम्मको कारोवार गर्ने गरेका छन ।
फार्मको उत्पादनले राम्रो बजार पाउँदा पूर्वी पहाडी भेग मात्र नभई काठमाण्डौंसम्मबाट समेत आउने माग पूरा गर्न उनलाई धौधौ छ । फार्ममै किसान पाठापाठी किन्न आउने गरेकाले समेत घिमिरेलाई बजारको कुनै समस्या छैन ।
खसीबाख्राको व्यवस्थित बसाईको प्रवन्ध सहित सिलिङ पङ्खा जडान गरी बनाइएको अग्लो खोरमा उन्नत जातका ३० माउबाख्रा र ३ वटा बोका पालेका घिमिरे आफैंले वरिपरीको जग्गमा घाँस रोपेका छन ।
अस्ट्रेलियाबाट ल्याइएको चिम्पाञ्जी उपनाम पाएको बोयर प्रजातिको माउबाख्रा र बोका पालेका घिमिरे एक पटकमा एउटा माउले दुईदेखि तीनवटा सम्म पाठापाठी पाउने गरेको बताउँछन ।
उनका अनुसार माउबाख्रा ६ महिनामै ब्याउँछ । एक लटमा कम्तिमा ७० देखि ८० वटा पाठापाठी हुने र तिनलाई तीन महिना दुध खुवाएर बेच्ने गरेको उनी बताउँछन । छिटो बढ्ने, शरीर खदिलो हुने र हेर्दा आकर्षक देखिने भएकाले समेत किसानले पाठापाठी बिना संकोच किनेर लैजाने गरेको उनी बताउँछन ।
बढी मात्रामा किसानबाट बीउको लागि पाठीको माग आउने गरेको बताउने उनी बोकाको लागि पाठाहरु किनेर लैजानेको संख्या समेत उत्तिकै रहेको बताउँछन ।
घिमिरेले पाठापाठी बेचेरै वार्षिक एक करोड बराबरको कारोवार गर्दै आएको बताए । उनी भन्छन, ‘गोट फार्मबाट राम्रो आम्दानी भैरहेकाले व्यवसायबाट सन्तुष्ट छु । थप विस्तार गर्दै लैजाने सोच बनाएको छु ।’
घरायसी काममै ब्यस्त हुने डुम्राहा घर भएकी कोपिला कार्कीले घरको कामसँगै सुरु गरेको ब्यवसायिक खसीबाख्रा पालन थालेपछि अहिले वर्षेनी लाखौ रुपमा आम्दामी गरिरहेकी छिन ।
विगत आठ वर्षदेखि घरमै ठुलेमोर कृषि फार्म खोलेकी कार्कीले १ सय ५० बढी खसीबाख्रा पालेकी छिन । लोकल तथा बोयर क्रस र जमुनापारी क्रस बाख्रा पालन गर्दै आएकी कार्की बजारको कुनै समस्या नभएको बताउछिन ।
मासुका लागि खसीको माग अत्याधिक रहेको बताउने फार्म संचालिका कार्की स्थानीय बजारमै उत्पादन खपत हुदै आएको बताउछिन । प्रतिकिलो पन्द्र सय देखि २ हजार र २ हजार ५ सय सम्मको दरले खसी बिक्री हुने गरेको कार्की बताउँछिन ।
मासु प्रयोजन बाहेक पालनकालागि समेत क्रस पाठापाठी किसानले किनेर लैजाने गरेको उनले बताइन ।
कार्कीले विदेश पलायन हुनुभन्दा स्वदेशमै रहेर कृषि पेशा अङ्गाल्न मन लागेकाले खेती गर्दै खसीबाख्रा पालनलाई व्यवसायका रुपमा अघि बढाएर लगेको सुनाइन ।
यता भेटेरीनरी अस्पताल तथा पशु विज्ञ सेवा केन्द्र इनरुवाले पशु पालक तथा कृषि पेशा अङ्गाल्दै आएका किसानको हकमा आवश्यक परामर्श र अनुदानसमेत उपलब्ध गराउने गरेको जनाएको छ ।
कार्यालयका अधिकृत रामप्रसाद मेहताले किसानको लगाव, थालेको व्यवसाय र दिगोपना जस्ता आधारभूत कुराको मूल्याङ्कन गरी सहयोग उपलब्ध गराउने गरिएको बताए ।
उनका अनुसार पछिल्लो समय सुनसरी जिल्लामा व्यवसायिक खेती तथा पशु पालनतर्फ किसानको आकर्षण बढ्दै गएको छ ।
