सावित्री–गोपाल स्मृती ट्रष्टका अध्यक्ष रोशन भट्टराईका अनुसार ‘चरि उड्यो बादल छुनलाई’ जस्ता चर्चित बोलका गितसमेत गाएका संगितकार रवि रिमालले संगित क्षेत्रमा पु¥याएको योगदान र पूर्वक्षेत्रको पत्रकारीतामा दैनिक पत्रिका प्रकाशन गरेर सूचनाका क्षेत्रमा दिएको योगदान स्वरुप किशोरकुमार कार्कीलाई सम्मान गरिएको हो ।
सम्मानित दुवैजनालाई सावित्री–गोपाल स्मृती ट्रष्टले स्थापना गरेको पुरस्कारको राशी १० हजारसमेत हस्तान्तरण गरिएको थियो ।
सम्मान कार्यक्रममा प्राध्यापक डाक्टर टंक न्यौपाने, इनरुवा नगरपालिकाका मेयर राजन मेहता, नेकपा एमालेका अध्यक्ष रेवतीरमण भण्डारी, किशोरकुमार कार्की, साहित्यकार कुन्ता शर्मा, सराेज पाेखरेल पुरुषोतम घिमिरे विदुर सुवेदी लगायतले बोलेका थिए ।
कार्यक्रममा रवि रिमालले ’चरि उडयो’ बोलको गित गाएका थिए भने कवि प्रल्हाद पहरेदार, सागर तिम्सिना, कुन्ता शर्माले कविता वाचन गरेका थिए ।
