चितवन । प्रविधिको प्रयोगबाट चितवनमा बिना खनजोत गहुँखेती गर्न शुरु गरिएको छ । कृषि ज्ञान केन्द्र चितवनको सहयोगमा भरतपुर महानगरपालिका–५ मा करिब ८० बिघा जमिन बिना खनजोत गहुँखेती शुरु गरिएको हो ।
जिरो टिलेज मेसिनको प्रयोग गरी गहुँखेती गरिएको कृषि ज्ञान केन्द्र चितवनका योजना अधिकृत एवं बिना खनजोत गहुँखेती प्रविधिका फोकल पर्सन उमराज अर्यालले जानकारी दिए । चितवनमा प्रविधि पहिल्यै भित्रिसकेको भए पनि यो प्रविधिबाट गहुँखेती पहिलोपटक गरिएको उनले बताए । चितवनमा धान ढिलो पाक्ने र कृषकलाई पनि पटकपटक खनजोत गर्दा थप समय लाग्ने हुँदा कम लागत र राम्रो उत्पादन हुने भएकाले बिना खनजोत गहुँखेती प्रभावकारी हुने अर्यालको भनाइ छ ।
बिना खनजोत गहुँखेती गर्ने प्रविधिका लागि प्रदेश सरकारले रु २१ लाख बजेट विनियोजन गरेको छ । जिल्लामा प्रधानमन्त्री कृषि आधुनिकीकरण परियोजनामार्फत पनि यो कार्यक्रम सञ्चालनमा छ । भरतपुरको कैलाश कृषक समूहका अध्यक्ष नीलविक्रम मल्लले भरतपुर–५ मा ८० बिघामा गहुँखेती गर्ने योजनाअनुरुप काम भइरहेको बताए । यस वर्ष विभिन्न कारणले ढिलाइ भएकाले बिहीबार सरोकारवालाको उपस्थितिमा नमूना प्रदर्शनी गरिएको जानकारी दिए ।
“कृषकहरु उत्साहित हुनुहुन्छ, अर्को वर्षदेखि सिँचाइ भएको ठाउँमा यही प्रविधिबाट गहुँखेती गर्ने सोचेका छौँ”, उनले भने । यो प्रविधिबाट खेती गर्दा खनजोत गर्न नपर्ने, मलखाद तथा बिजमा समेत बचत हुने भएकाले किसानलाई लाभ मिल्ने छ । यो प्रविधिले किसानको समयको बचत र लागत खर्चसमेत कम हुने कृषि प्राविधिकको भनाइ छ । रासस
