एक दिन राम बहादुरलाई निकै छाति दुख्यो । ४० वर्षीया उच्च तहका नेतृत्वलाई एक्कासी छाति दुखेपछि तुरुन्त अस्पताल लगियो ।

रगतको परीक्षण, ईसिजी, छातिको एक्स–रे, इकोकार्डियोग्राफीले मात्रै भएन एन्जियोग्राफी पनि गरियो । उनको मुटुमा समस्या रहेको पत्तालाग्यो । तुरुन्त मुटुको शल्यक्रिया गर्नुपर्ने सल्लाह दियो ।

मुटुको अप्रेसनका लागि अस्पतालमा शल्यकक्ष बनाईयो । अति आधुनिक मेसिनहरुका लागि रातारात टेण्डर गरियो । समान खरिद भयो, अस्पतालमा जडान गरियो ।

शल्यक्रियाका लागि रगत, औषधीलगायत अन्य आवश्यक सामग्री पनि व्यवस्थापन गरियो । तर मुटुको शल्यक्रिया कसले गर्ने ?

यस्तो मुटु त कति खोलियो खोलियो भन्दै धेरै आए । आएको मध्ये केहिलाई राखेर विज्ञ समिति बनाईयो र शल्यक्रिया गर्ने तयारी गरियो ।

शल्यक्रिया शुरु भयो । बेहोस गर्ने विज्ञ समुहले राम बहादुरलाई बेहोस बनायो । शल्यकक्षबाट लाईभ हुँदै थियो । धेरैले समाजिक सञ्जालमा सेयर गरिरहेको थियो ।

मुटुको शल्यक्रिया शुरु भयो । बेला बेलामा अवस्था पनि भन्दैमा थियो । समाजिक सञ्जलमा कसैले शुभकामना त कसैले आलोचना गर्दै थियो ।

६ घण्टा लगाएर मुटुको शल्यक्रिया गरियो । मुटुका विज्ञहरूले मुस्कानसहित शल्यक्रिया सफल भएको घोषणा गरे ।

अप्रेसन त सफल भयो तर बेहोस गरिएको रामबहादुरको होस आएन । मुटुको शल्यक्रियाका लागि मेडिकल टिम बनाए पनि बेहोसका लागि ध्यान दिईएको रहेनछ । उनलाई बेहोस गर्ने एनेस्थेसियोलोजिष्ट रहेनछ र उनलाई अयोग्यले बिहोस गरेको रहेछ र सोहि बेहोस गर्ने क्रममा मृत्यु भएको रहेछ ।

हाम्रो समाजमा अहिले यस्तै छ । अहिले सबै कोरोनामा केन्द्रित छौ । कोरोनालाई जितौला । तर भोक, बेरोजगार, अन्य रोग अनि समाजिक बितृष्णाले पो मर्छौ कि ?
